The lambs will provide your clothing, And the goats the price of a field;

Please Excuse The Pages Out Of Order. For Those Who Don"t Know, We Had A Barn Fire Spring of 2017 And Lost 1/2 Our Herd. Through The Generosity Of So Many, Our Herd Is Being Rebuilt! Thank You To Those Who Have Stood With Us The Whole Way!
One winter morning...
Welcome to Onion Creek Oberhaslis! Located in the beautiful Onion Creek Valley in NE Washington, we strive to produce high quality, American Oberhasli. We select for wide pelvic bones for easier kidding, quality milking lines and genetics, correct markings and dark bay coloring. We offer both horned and genetically polled kids. We keep a closed herd of tested CAE/CL negative goats. We are a small farm with big dreams.
Thanks and God Bless, the Jacobs family!

Look For These Colors Throughout Our Site:
Blue Means They Are Black
Green Means They Are Polled
Red Means They Are Polled And Black
Our Show Stance:
We do not show our goats for bio security reasons. We are looking in to Linear Appraisals and maybe DHIR testing. Our goal is for quality animals and good herd health. We are not going to risk the health for recognition :). Every one has their own farm objectives and while this may not be yours, it is ours. We are happy to work with anybody regardless of their perspective.
Our Bio-Security Practices:
All new herd members go through strict quarantine for at least three weeks while we observe them closely for any signs of illness. After they are through quarantine they join the herd healthy and happy.
We wash all of our shoes, clothing, etc. after visiting other farms, (or animals in quarantine), shows, or fairs, before having any contact with our other goats. We would apply these practices in reverse before visiting your farm.
